KOLOSS
A continuous performance, 24 hours a day, for 14 days. A battle between man and matter at the cutting edge of reality. The heroism of the work ethic, allied to the magic of high- tech. Koloss as modern myth.
An old coastal cruiser runs aground at Camperduin. A swarm of scrap workers cut the rust-ridden wreck into 40 sections and Shire horses pull it all apart. A convoy of trucks transports the sections across the province to Hoorn. There, a team of welders reassemble the entire ship again. After 14 days of blood, sweat and tears, the Koloss slides into the water once again, and continues its journey.
