ARK

… over a period of 20 years, a giant sculpture emerges, slowly but surely, its progress determined solely by nature. The result is pure culture.

On top of a grass-covered hill, a group of trees grow, their trunks pulled towards one another. The treetops are interwoven, the trunks linked together with steel pipes. After 20 years of growth, a green cathedral has formed. Then, the trunks will be sawn through just above the soil, and the entire construct will be turned upside down using cranes: behold the Ark.
